The Cinch Team caught up with HMRC at the recent Recruitment Expo in Birmingham.
They gave us some ‘handy hints’ for Intermediary Reporting:
- Upload the report as a OSD file. This will ensure fields are imported correctly meaning “0” is not omitted at the beginning or end of a field and commas are not deleted.
- If possible, upload the report in advance of the deadline as systems may be slower on the deadline day due to volume.
- You have until 5th November to amend any incorrect data from the previous submission without being subject to penalties.
- HMRC have a dedicated helpline for Intermediary Reporting which you can contact on 03000 555 995.
