We are thrilled to introduce Abby Layhe, a loved member of the team at The Cinch Group!

Abby has been working with us since February 2019 handling the onboarding process and dealing with any queries from the agencies and contractors. Abby has previous experience in recruitment and payroll, so you could say she is quite a whizz at her job! Abby works part-time as she has a two-year-old boy but that doesn’t stop her from working-hard and thrive to deliver the best service possible.

We asked Abby some questions to find out a little more about her, these were her responses:

1. What are your day-to-day jobs at the Cinch Group?

I help out with the onboarding process and respond to client and contractor queries. More recently I have started inputting hours into the system and have taken responsibility for a particular client, which involves uploading their hours, invoicing back to the end clients and producing payroll.

2. What is your favorite thing about working here?

My favourite thing about working at Cinch is that I look forward to going to work. I consider my colleagues at Cinch to be friends and we all get on really well. It’s a nice place to be.

3. Can you remember a special memory/highlight of the Cinch Group?

A particular highlight from working at Cinch is winning my one and only award, which happened to be ‘Derp of the Year’. (You can’t win them all). I do enjoy the summer and Christmas parties also, they have their own highlights.

4. Where would we catch you on the weekend?

I have a very energetic 2 year old so I’m a frequent visitor to the local play areas. We spend a lot of time with family at the weekends with a very rare night out thrown in, just to remind myself I’m not an old lady.

5. Going to a restaurant for food or getting a takeaway in?

I do like a meal out but a takeaway in definitely works better.

6. Do you have a secret talent/ party trick?

Just like Evie, I can also fit my fist in my mouth.

Director Sean White commented: “Abby is a key member of the team and has developed so much during her time with us. It’s always great when employee’s want to improve their skills and take on more responsibility and Abby certainly does that. A true part of the furniture(3 days a week)”.
