A catch-up with Mia was well overdue, so we thought it was her turn to answer our ‘Meet the Team’ questions!

Mia Hinchliffe has been working at Cinch for many many years now, originally starting out as an apprentice. Mia is now working in the Accounts Department and really shone her skills and talent in the team. She is always there to answer any questions and willing to help others, a team-player is very much a perfect description for Mia. We are delighted to have her at Cinch, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for Mia.

We asked her a few questions to get an insight into her life, these were her answers:

1. What does your day usually look like in the office?

I tend to spend the majority of my time importing invoices, putting on receipts and chasing any outstanding monies. I always try to help out with other tasks around the office too such as importing new starters and chasing registrations.

2. How have you found the transition into the Accounts Department?

My colleagues in accounts are always there for me to lean on if I need any help, but they have given me a lot of independence. I’m currently working through my AAT level 2 & 3 so will hopefully be able to pick up more as I continue.

3. What is your favourite thing about working at Cinch?

Definitely the people. We’re a close team and we enjoy going on work nights out together. We always have a laugh in the office and I love how we all work together to get the job done.

4. Who is your celebrity crush? And Why?

Justin Timberlake specifically from 2002 – that’s when he was in his prime.

5. Night out in a club or drinks in the pub?

Drinks in the pub – specifically a double vodka lime and soda if I feel like treating myself!

6. Do you have a secret talent or party trick?

I can last in a pair of heels all night! I consider that a talent as I always see girls taking them off and walking around barefoot!

Operations Director Grace Lebond commented: “Mia is great to have in the office. From a working aspect she has really progressed with the business developing from joining us as an apprentice to now moving more into an accounts focused role. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Mia and she’s a member of the team who will help anyone out. I also can’t go without mentioning how she adds to the office environment with her random daily thoughts and “would you rathers” which really cause some debates. We’re all excited to see how Mia progresses further on completion of her AAT with us in the next few years 😊”
